It would be nice when using the area retain mode of the Reshape tool to be able to tab in the Area control and set an area you want to target. Default behaviour would stay the same. No new interface is needed.

Thanks Scott! that's solved the Data Vis issue, but the symbols still aren't aligning properly. I re inserted the Equipment summary from scratch in case it was a refresh issue. (Now on 2024 Update 5)

Thanks @Tom W. & @Matt Panzer The issue with round closure is the radius . it is greater than the door/window distance from the outer edge of the wall. And thanks for clarifying the wall direction confusion.

Hello everyone I plan and project kitchens, shop fittings, bakeries, counters and much more. Until recently, these were mostly cubic and angular. Organic forms are now often required. The furniture usually has fixed axis lengths or standard widths. "Point on Poly" works more or less well because the chord is too short because the length is calculated along the polyline. Now when it comes to execution, I have to determine the intersection points with circles. This procedure takes a lot of time because several drawings often have to be made. I have attached my file with the current marionette. This certainly explains it better than my Google translated one. Another thought: a curved line is always longer than a direct straight line connecting two points. I tried using a loop in the code to move the point on the line until it was at the intersection of the chord. The shifting was done, for example, in tenths of the difference between chord and nDist up to an accuracy of 0.000000x. The problem was that the point was calculated from the polyline starting point. HI Martin, I made this in a completely different, but easy way. Now that I see what you are after, I think you will like this method. Much greater, easier control and unlike subdivision, it remains NURBS. I have to go out for bit this afternoon, but will make a short video explaining the process later today.

I've been playing around with the Photoshop AI Generative fill feature. It does exactly what you are asking for. It works great as it is non-destructive to your VW image. Simply select the area where you want something, describe it and hit enter.

You could also try assigning a 'wobbly' Line Type to your stone rubble Wall... (I know nothing about Sketch Styles)

hey everybody, i‘ve tryed to get the connections between my devices via worksheet, but cant get it run… i got my schematic devices in via worksheet, that seems to work fine. bit i cant get any connections. i tryed with an excel sheet and followed the tutorial „signal flow and system design“ bit what worked there doesnt work in my file… next i had tryed with the make cable list command and change some sockets, didnt worked can anybody explain what i habe to do to prepare an worksheet? thanks a lot.
