  1. Ah, sorry, I had forgoten that "Ungroup" does not work with Extrudes. Then you have the possibility to "edit" the extrudes (e.g. from the context menu). Then you get the path of the Extrude, which you can copy (instead of having to re-create it).
  2. There was a bug back in VW 2015 SDK, see our previous discussion 😉
  3. VW 2010 does not seem to run on MacOS 10.7 or higher, at least according to:
  4. Have you double-checked your firewall settings?
  5. Yes, I suppose that the document means the VW feature.
  6. As you have not linked the article you meant, it is difficult to tell you. However, yes, VW has a feature called "Workgroup and Projects Folders", which you can set in the Vectorworks Preferences, assuming you have the right variant of VW. However I cannot help you to know if it helps or not with cross-platform references, as I am somebody using very rarely references.
  7. See also what I had written in a previous thread:
  8. Do you get an error message or does VW crash when loading?
  9. If you are not forced to update (e.g. new Mac or macOS too old for VW 2019), then you should probably stay with your current macOS version, especially if it has not worked well for you previously.
  10. When does it quit? When starting? In middle of working?
  11. We are not part of ComputerWorks 😉
  12. That is probably the origin of the behaviour. The title block has no chance to know that the file name has been changed.
  13. How do you rename the file? From your description I would suppose that it is outside VW. Have you checked if using File/Save As works better in that case?
  14. I can only put together what I see in the forum. The feedback for VW 2019 SP2 is unfortunately not in this direction, therefore I would not expect that the situation is any better in VW 2018 SP6, which is supposed to have the same level of support for Mojave.
  15. As far as I understand, especially with VW 2018, you should avoid updating to Mojave if you are not forced to do so. Just search "Mojave" in this forum and you can see that quite a few people have still glitches, even with VW 2019 SP2 and macOS 10.14.3. See also:
  16. The official compatibility list is there:
  17. Thinking further, the picture you have shown does not look like the content of a typical VW user folder. Is it really the folder as defined in the VW preferences?
  18. I have just tried on my Mac. It does work for me. The file named "Vectorworks Log" contains: 11.02.19, 18:56:31 Turned logging on. 11.02.19, 18:56:40 Closed "Untitled 1". 11.02.19, 18:56:41 Quit Vectorworks.
  19. Check your user folder. See this old thread (as far as I know, it has not changed since 2016).
  20. Vectorworks comes with its own installation of Python 3.5. However I do not know how to install third-party Python modules, as I have never done it.
  21. It depends on the type of serial number of the student, how VW saves files and on the type of your serial number if VW is allowed to open such a "student" file.
  22. VW is very oriented on the current opened file. From what I know, you can only import and export from/to another document.
