Service Pack 4 Crashing

Every Time I try to start vectorworks 2024 since I did the latest download Service Pack 4, it immediately crashes.  Any ideas as to potential fixes?

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my device, and basic google searches based on the crash log error but thats about where I'm at.  No Idea and now I can't use the program which is problematic.

I did find another thread that gave me advice to remove a file that worked.  
 

When I did this it stopped crashing and was able to use the program again.

I can even get it to install.

You could try rolling back to a previous SP, which might at least get Vw working for you again.
The instructions below are for Vw2023, but it’s the same method for Vw2024.

As we can't get Service pack 4 to run, we actually have no problem still using VW 2024 with Service patch 3.  However, yes at least that approach would be relativly pain free for those who are finding Service patch 4 makes it unworkable.

Did you try to run the repair function after installing update 4?

My Vectorworks crashes a lot since I installed the 2024 version. Any suggestions?

Go back to 3.1.  The only difference appears to be the AI Visualizer, which may possibly have something to do with this.  Although I have 2024, I am not a service select member and therefore did not get the AI Visualizer addition, but perhaps the program is looking for it.

Let's see if this works better. Thank you for your advice. I did repair on the updater and removed the generateImage.

Just to say, there were actually some significant bug fixes with Roofs + Windows plus the new 'Transform' mode for the Selection Tool is quite a big deal, likewise custom Site Model Contour labels...

Had the same issue and thankfully this fixed it for me! Working on Windows 11. Lots of bug fixes so did not want to switch back to SP3.1.

Yeah, 

Service pack 4 seemed to also fix a bug for me where spotlight would crash when attempting to use the "Find and Modify" search functions. So became pretty key to get that update haha.
