Delete a color from the "Active Document" Colors?

Bruce Kieffer

I can purge the unused colors from the Active Document color palette, but the color I want to delete is supposedly used somewhere. I searched everywhere using custom selection, but the results say no object is using the color, and the color is not in my custom color palette. So how can I delete it from my file?

One scenario where this would occur is if you had an object with one colour located inside the history of a 3D Solid which has a different colour. The colour of the object inside would not purge yet also wouldn't show up when you run custom selection. Is it possible this is what's happening? Have you got Formula buried inside another object?

^ exactly !

Just like it works for Classes.

I also often wonder when I accidentally click on "Colors used in File"

how many I collected. Although I hardly tried to use only that same

bright blue or beige everywhere.

being able to delete and replace assigned objects with the new color

would be absolutely great.
