  1. - Ohh, my bad. Well, I do not think that this is possible at this time. - It is better to have this in as a VE, I will add one.
  2. - There is a precision popup just below the units selection in the Define Tag field dialog. You can choose the thousands separator there for the Data Tag defined units. - The Edit Tag Data fields are displayed based on the stacking order of the text objects in the Data Tag layout. You can move around the text objects using Right Click->Send to Back/Front/Backward/Forward and adjust your text object position in the Edit Tag Data dialog. - I am afraid that only dimension/area/volume defined real parameters could have customized units in the Data Tag. You can fill in a VE about that and it would be considered. Best regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  3. I don't think so, you can see all the formulas from the Define tag Field dialog. - Could you give me some more information about this? If you have a volume field that you would display in 2 different units, you can easily just have 2 formulas in your data tag with different units, as shown below with a volume field of a custom record displayed in cu m and cu ft: If this is not the case, could you give me a test file? Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  4. - They should be in the Resource Manager, probably not in the same folder anymore. Look at top level and you should find the worksheet there.
  5. Hello @CarlosMPA, I have investigated this and I am not really sure if the TBB is the root of the problem. I will keep digging in to see what is the cause and fix it. In the meantime, do you open the TBManager from the TBB's OIP button? If so, try opening the manager from the menu command (File->Title Block Manager...). It seems like that way the hang is not showing up. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  6. Thanks for the test file @EvelyneB. I have tested this a bit and it seems that the problem comes from the Data Stamp objects in your Title Blocks. These objects have Z value different than 0 and this seems to be causing the issue. For now, you can set the Z value of these objects to be 0 and the issue should be fixed. Anyway, I will try to fix this, so that this does not cause such issues. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  7. - Your formula is wrong, you have #AREA# twice. If you delete the formula and add it again you will get correct results. Was the formula you were using in VW2020 the same? Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  8. Hello @CarlosMPA, Could you send me a test file which shows this issue? I have tested this out with a new document and did not have any problems. Thanks, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  9. Hello @Lisar, I have just tested this in VW2021 and using the formula from my image above is still working fine. Could you make a screenshot of your Define Tag Field dialog or send a test file? Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  10. Hello @ryanww, I and O are not in this list by design because they can get mistaken for 1 and 0. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  11. Hello @EvelyneB, 1) Could you send me a sample test file with the TBB wandered away so that I can try to see what is causing this issue? 2) As @Kevin McAllister mentioned above, this should be fixed in VW2021. The reason for it in VW 2020 is most probably a reset of the Title Block object while it is not visible, usually caused by modifying document wide Title Block Data. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  12. Thank you for the feedback. 🙂 As a workaround for now you can simply publish with the option "Export PDFs as separate files" checked.
  13. You can use the Concat function, like AlrtDialog(Concat('there are', N, 'apartments in your building'));
  14. Hello @A.D.K., Just to verify that I get this right. 1) You want the naming scheme to be applied when you have only 1 PDF item for publish, no matter what the state of the "Export PDFs as separate files" is? OR 2) You want the naming scheme to be applied when you have multiple PDF items for publish and "Export PDFs as separate files" is not selected(meaning many pdf pages in one pdf file)? Thanks, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  15. - Currently this is not possible. If you want to, you could add this in the wishlist thread and it will be considered.
  16. - I have tested this in VW 2021 with blank file and it is working correctly for me. Are you sure you have the Eqport PDFs as separate files checked? Because if you do not have it, PDFs will be created as one file using the VWX file name. If this is not the case, could you send me a test file that I can test with? Thanks, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  17. Hello @A.D.K., Could you give me some more information on this one? Are you using the Publish command? Are you publishing single sheet in a single publish item? It would be best if you can share a screenshot of your publish set and naming schemes or a test file. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  18. - Yes, the shape and the order of the text are hard coded.
  19. Hello @justinekwood, Could you send me a simple test file to show me the issue? Thanks, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  20. Hello @Rob Sherman, You can modify this text by editing the Sys-PortNames class. However, this class is used for the socket labels as well, so any changes to it will affect them too, unless you modify your socket label symbols to use different class. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  21. Hello @Haydenovative, I tested this out in VW2021 and I was able to create a red symbol from a Title Block Border object. Could you make a screen recording of what you are seeing or send me a test file with steps? Thanks, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  22. - I think that this is possible only from the drawing label and not from the data tag. - I do not think that this is possible.
  23. Thanks for the feedback. I will look into this and let you know in here when there is progress.
  24. Hello @Dylan, The Drawing Labels were improved in VW 2021 and now they have better customization, similar to Data Tags. Anyway, if you do not have VW2021 yet, in VW 2020 you can get the drawing number and title in the Data Tag from the General Function Data Source in the Define Tag Field dialog. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
