Shortcut for viewport closing

It seems like there is a shortcut of esc esc esc to close a viewport

Am I remembering wrong?

If not how do I set that?

You can use Ctrl+} to exit the Annotation, Crop or return to the VP from the design layer.

Kevin's shortcut also works for exiting groups and symbols. Its a great shortcut to know.

Window > Edit Group Options will let you turn esc esc on and off.

Cmd+] is not particularly ergonomic.

You can customize the key command using the Workspace Editor.  Exit Annotations is controlled by the same key command as Exit Group.  So to change BOTH go to:

 

Tools menu->Workspaces->Edit Current Workspace->Menus tab->Modify->Exit Group

 

and change the key command.  The specific location under the Menus tab in the Workspace Editor may be different depending on your current Workspace.
