2023 SP5 Update

Seems to get stuck at 70%.  Any one else had problems updating?

May be coincidental but unticking 'launch vectorworks' seems to awaken the installer.

I got stuck on 74% but I went off + walked the dog + it had finished when I got back. Do you have a dog?

I am used to VW Update needing long time.

So I usually start the Updater manually, letting it work in the background

while I do something else.

When I come back it usually was finished.

 

So I would not notice if it looks like freezing.

 

My other CAD's installer does a "registering components" when the progress

bar is nearly at its end. It always says less then 1 minute ...

but my experience is more like 15 minutes,

So I also let it run in Background, do something else and get awaken by

the beep when it has finished.

My installation went smoothly.

Just did an update and it worked fine, I think.

 

Am I right in thinking SP5 is a "no new features" update?

A little behind schedule, but I just attempted mine.  It progressed to somewhere around 140% (so far that the progress bar filled all the way to the right,then started to be taken away on the left side) then dropped to around 70%, filled up to 90, then said it was done, then threw an error, then said it was installed and up to date.

Mine keeps crashing at about 80%, tried restarting etc but it’s still not letting me update??
