  1. They are in the coffee breaks section so it takes a little bit of digging to find them which is why it can be hard to find them.
  2. @ASteinThis truss appears to be XSF truss from the DWG file name. If so, have Clif reach out to us with the files and we will work on getting it added to the shipped libraries. We have a very good relationship with XSF so it will not be difficult to get what we need from them to make it happen, they just have to tell us that they want that product in the shipped libraries.
  3. Here are some links from the Vectorworks University. Ideally you want to get that truss file into native VW geometry consisting of extrudes and solid additions. https://university.vectorworks.net/mod/overview/view.php?id=4325 https://university.vectorworks.net/mod/overview/view.php?id=2816
  4. @Scott C. ParkerThe equipment list is your baby, I am sure you have a solution.
  5. @Cristiano AlvesHere is a link to the Vectorworks University Coffee Break for the video that I mention in the above post. Also, although lighting fixtures are the only thing that can be requested through the Customer Portal Fixture Request form you can submit any Resource Request through the Wishlist-Forum and Content Request section of the Vectorworks Forum. That channel is monitored by CAD Content Development and all requests are entered into our internal tracking system for scheduling. The only request we have for that channel is to do one new post for each item requested so that other users can upvote and we can schedule development based on the number of upvotes. However, we can only develop content from manufacturers that we have an agreement with so requests may sit for a significant amount of time if a manufacturer is not willing to speak to us. Until we get a manufacturer signing our Content Partnership and Development agreement no work will be started and other requests will jump above in the queue. https://university.vectorworks.net/mod/overview/view.php?id=4947
  6. The two pages that Scott mention are great resources. There is also a video tutorial on Vectorworks University where a member of the Content Development team completes the creation of a lighting device from start to finish.
  7. If you are requesting any symbols other than Spotlight Lighting Fixtures this is the location to do so. If you are requesting Spotlight Lighting Fixtures you can submit those through the Fixture Request Form on the Customer Portal. Keep in mind though that there is a limit of three individual fixture requests per user per quarter using that form.
  8. Please enter these requests as individual topics on the Forum. This will allow users to upvote so that we can assess priority and get these requests scheduled.
  9. Save it into your user or workgroup folder.
  10. I took care of this and this will be released with the next major release which will be VW2025. After a discussion with Andy this cabinet symbol has now been setup to work better with his tool improvements.
  11. @JDConner I am not sure how to access those libraries from an educational license but I am going to tag @Jen Hart who is the educational coordinator as she may be able to provide an answer.
  12. Martin Lighting develops all of their Vectorworks symbols in house. You can find the file for their catalog in the downloads section of the Mac Viper XIP webpage. https://www.martin.com/en-US/products/mac-viper-xip#downloads
  13. Kevin is correct. You need to trace their file using Vectorworks and then make that a symbol and attach the appropriate record and fill out all of the information.
  14. I will speak to the manufacturer but in our previous conversations with them they have stated that they want those tabs in place because it is the point for attaching the pins. It may require adjusting how the symbol is setup in the RM as well as how the measurements are done in the Speaker Record.
  15. @WoodYes, that is correct. Custom, user created cross sections only live within the document in which they were created. I am adding in @klinzey in case he wants to add in more insight or explanation.
