  1. Without having a photo of what you are trying to achieve it is hard to offer a solution but it sounds like you may need to draw this truss manually.
  2. Take a look at the ModTruss library that ships with Vectorworks. That is a very similar type of truss with magnets on all four sides every 12". You will have to use Top 3D, Bottom 3D, Top 2D and Bottom 2D magnets to achieve what you are seeking.
  3. @Cristiano AlvesWere those objects that rotated individually Spotlight Lighting Devices? That behavior is specific to those types of symbols.
  4. Here is an updated Tyler GT file with the chord snapping added to the center chord. I would recommend that you store this in your User folder so that it does not get overwritten by the next catalog update as I don't know which update will contain the fixed file. GT.vwx
  5. The GT Truss will be corrected in a future update but I cannot state which update at this time. As Sebastian stated, it is very easy to add additional snapping of your choice and it is well documented in the help.
  6. @Mauro PujiaIs this what you are asking about? https://forum.vectorworks.net/index.php?/forum/19-wishlist-feature-and-content-requests/
  7. The change to the snapping location was also done to work with the Z-Height and new Trim Height fields in the OIP as well as proper truss rotation.
  8. @aheininenYou are correct, there is no way to make truss imported from 2024 work with the new chord snapping without adding the geometry. As @spettitt states there is no one click button to 3D Polygon geometry and it must be done manually. It took me about 6-8 weeks during the summer to add the snaps to the ~4,500 symbols that support this new feature and believe me, if we could have easily scripted it for bulk we would have but it also served as an opportunity to look and examine each file and clean up any other glaring issues that were present. Corners will never have truss snap geometry setup in shipped VW content. We are only focusing on straight pieces of truss and curved pieces. You are able to add the snapping to corners yourself if you desire.
  9. @Josh B RawlsIf you are using VW2025 there is a new feature where you can import and link GDTF modes to Lighting Device symbols by a simple command. As long as the Lighting Device in Vectorworks has the GDTF ID and GDTF Name populated this feature will work and the Hyperstar is one of those symbols what is setup to utilize this new feature.
  10. @Kyle SuttonI think you may be the best person to answer these questions.
  11. Yes, for VW2025 there is no longer a section for Premium Content. That section of the RM was the location for the new content that was released every two months for users who were on a Vectorworks Service Select plan. It was decided to remove that section to eliminate confusion on where to look for content because often the same manufacturer was on both locations and to allow for an easier process to release new content and bug fixes. All users who are working in VW2025 have access to the new content releases as well as the standard content and it is all in one place. The watermark issue is scheduled to be fixed in Update 1 but will require a new download of the content when prompted after updating.
  12. Your request has been logged in our internal tracking system as CD-5143. We will reach out to Area 4 Industries to see if they can provide us with the necessary CAD files for creation. At this time I cannot offer a timeframe on when this truss will be available in VW2025 or a future version.
  13. Are you still using VW2024? In VW2025, the Premium Libraries section has been removed and all of the content is now available in the Vectorworks libraries to all users.
  14. This is scheduled for correction in Update 1. We are currently testing to make sure that the fix was correctly performed.
