1. Add subforum for Datamanager [wish]

4. Improve image insertion [wish]
5. Re-enable ability to upvote people's posts in one's own thread [wish]
6. Add ability to label people's posts as 'Helpful' [wish]
7. Add ability to add Tags to posts in all subforums [wish]
8. Enable community management of wishes granted [wish]
9. Re-enable ability to review content [wish]
10. Bring back the reputation button next to people's posts [wish]
11. Correct configuration of all-day events in calendar [wish]
12. Figure out why new people use their name in the subject title [wish]

 

REQUESTED (MAJOR FEATURES):

1. Add community Wiki module to forum [wish]
2. Add 'Official Status' of each wishlist item [wish]
3. Add ability to bookmark posts within the forum software [wish]
4. Add a "Solutions Leaderboard" [wish]
5. Mobile forum improvements [wish]

 

MAYBE NOT NEEDED ANYMORE:

1. Move 'Insert other media' button [wish]

1. Pin 'Solutions' to top of thread [wish] ✅
2. Add subforum 'Forum' ✅
3. Add Energos subforum [wish] ✅
4. Rename "Forum" subforum to "Forum Feedback" [wish] ✅

We are working on a better system for wish submissions, and will be part of the Roadmap in the future.

We are currently working on it. Events will start displaying in the forum calendar moving forward.

This option is hard coded. I'm waiting for an answer from the developer to see if we can upgrade the title. This is happening occasionally, and when that happens, I've been editing the post.

This is not a feature in the forum - I submitted a wish request, and I'm looking for a plug-in.

There is not much that I can control directly from the admin UI - I will submit wish items to the developer.

Sometimes as we post a feature request, we are not aware the same feature (or similar features) was already submitted in previous posts.

 

Hence, it would be good if:

(1) moderator or AI combines these same or similar posts 

(2) if a poster later realises there is a similar post in the past, be given the ability to request the posts to be combined 

(3) all combined posts should combine the upvotes too 

 

Also, in terms of old unprocessed posts:

(a) all unprocessed posts with 5 upvotes or more should be revisited by the moderators on a yearly basis. 
(b) reason for the unprocessed posts should be given: eg  ‘already addressed in version 2024’, ‘under review’, ‘engineering infeasible’, ‘in future roadmap’, ‘awaiting more upvotes’…. Etc.

 

It’s can be very discouraging to see posts that have up to say 10 upvotes, sitting here in the forum for 5-10 years, still not acknowledged or addressed.

@JuanP - It seems we've been unable to adjust image sizes in posts for a while. When an image is double clicked the following pop-up is shown:

@Andy Broomell , my apologies for the delay. I'm still struggling with this issue. I got an open ticket with the platform developer, but no luck yet, not even with all the updates we've thrown at it in the past few months. I'll bug them again, though. Thanks for your patience. It's much appreciated! I'll keep you posted.
