Scale Objects: additional measurer for symmetric by distance

Can we have an additional measurer for symmetric by distance object scaling.

Edit: Explanatory note: The Scale by Object, Symmetric By Distance option currently provides only one measuring tool, for the "Current Distance". I'd like to have one for the "New Distance" as well.

So instead of having to know/measure the New Distance beforehand (sometimes you know what objects you want to scale to but you don't know the actual distance is without measuring it) you can just measure the Current Distance and then measure the New Distance as one workflow while staying in the Scale by Object tool.

This is really need. I also have trouble with this and forced to cancel and measure first, then redo it again.
