  1. Hello @Dennis Moore Jr., This usually means that you have 2 Title Block Borders in that layer. Can you make a screen recording showing how you are creating a new sheet? Or, could you send me a sample test file and tell me the steps to reproduce this? Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  2. Hello @Amorphous - Julian, Changing the stacking order of the layers changes the Page Number of the Sheet Data, which is requiring all of the TBBs to be checked out. As a workaround for now, you could try working with TBBs that have This Title Block is Active not checked, which should speed up most of the operations but also disable the auto TBB data syncing. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  3. Hello @Amorphous - Julian, - I can only tell you that there are no planned improvements on the TBB for VW2020 or any of its coming service packs. I will try to analyze this as soon as the time allows and will let you know of the results. - If you are not changing anything affecting all TBBs, such as Document Options or Project Data or adding/deleting fields of Sheet Data, you should not be required to check out more than the edited TBB. Could you tell me the exact steps you are doing? Keep in mind that the TBManager is for multi TBB changes and is always requiring all TBBs in the file to be checked out. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  4. Hello @spljohn, Thank you for your feedback on this issue. We are aware of it and it will be fixed in the next service pack. As a workaround for now, it is better to create the Equipment Item object without making any edits in its Preferences dialog and after that edit the created object from its OIP. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  5. Hello @DEZ, As of VW 2020 SP2 there is no way to set the text size for the Equipment Item. However, this should be possible soon in a future release/update. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  6. Hello @nakedeye, Thank you for spotting this and posting it here! 🙂 Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  7. Hello @JAC71, I will write here so that others that might be having the same problem could follow the discussion. In your file you have edited the TBB Style and made the TBB graphics to be By Instance. This means that each of the TBB objects using that style will not be using its Title Block graphics. When you create new TBB using that style and the TBB Tool, it is simply not getting the Title Block graphics as it is not set to By Style. So, if you edit the style and click on the button left from Title Block Graphics in the Title Block pane you will see that the Title Block will appear in all objects using that style. My assumption of it disappearing is that at some point you have made the graphics to be By Instance by editing the style and then you have started placing the TBB instances. If you have placed the TBB instances while the graphics were By Style, they would not have changed when you have made the graphics By Instance. Hopefully this solves your issue 🙂 . Let me know if you still have any issues with the TBB. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  8. Hello @BGD, Yes, you could duplicate the saved resource and then edit the duplicated resource and set its Orientation to Portrait. Another thing you could do is to simply use Fit To Page or Fit To Printable area Sheet Size for the Title Block Border and it will automatically fit to your page. Let me know if you need any further help. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  9. Hello @JAC71, Can you send me a test file with the invisible TBB? Thanks, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  10. Hello @Hans-Olav, The Custom Text param is not cleared when you are not using Drawing Stamp. In order to get the custom text for objects using the Drawing Stamp only try using the IF formula like this: =IF( 'Title Block Border'.'Display Drawing Stamp'; 'Title Block Border'.'Custom Text'; '' ) Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  11. Hello @mouseman85, The TBB is still requiring all TBBs to be checked out when using the Title Block Manager. However, I do not think that this should affect creating of new empty layers. Could you send me a test file or tell me the steps to reproduce what you are experiencing? Thanks, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  12. Hello all, You could try using the information from the Energos Labels and extract it in a worksheet. Keep in mind that you will get only one object with all the information of the whole document, database rows won't help much. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  13. Ops, sorry about that, seems like I have missed this important detail. Then, I think that this is not possible at this time, as the TBB is creating the text that way. It is not doing any modifications to the text settings, so it is interesting why the text is flipped in one place and not in the other. I will see if this is actually a missed case in the TBB logic and let you know in here.
  14. Hello @Phil hunt, If your symbols is hybrid and has 2D and 3D graphics, only 2D graphics will be displayed in plan view. If this is not the case, could you send me a test file with the symbol in it? Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  15. Hello @Andy Broomell, Try switching off the Document Option in the Display tab - "Adjust flipped text". Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  16. Hello @DBruhnke, I am sorry to hear that the provided example did not help. I do not know of any other way to get better results. You could ungroup the result from the file I have sent you and delete the parts that you do not need, such as texts. Better results could be given with a clearer scheme with higher quality and maybe less details. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  17. Hello @Conrad P, @Dima, Actually, the offset of the number from the socket it is connected to could be modified from ConnectCAD Settings dialog for all Circuits in the file. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  18. Hello @DBruhnke, - The tool is just a demo and it is still not certain if it will be released in any of the future versions or not. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  19. @Julian78 Here is a VW2019 file that you should be able to open: Vectorize Test v2019.vwx You will not be able to get this result, because the tool it is made with is still only a demo and not available.
  20. @Julian78, The file is VW2020 file, which version of VW are you using? I have created it with a demo tool that I have, but I still had to convert the pdf to jpg.
  21. Here is what I managed to get. Let me know if it gets the job done for you. Vectorize Test.vwx Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  22. Hello @Julian78, Could you send me the image file? I want to give it a try and if I succeed I will send you the vwx file with the result. Thanks, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  23. Hello @MartinFahrer, The TBB is displaying the paper scale of the layer (respectively the custom scale fo the Viewport) which is always in this format. Anyway, as this seems to be important feature for you and other users, we will investigate if it could be done the way you want it. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
  24. Hello @Christiaan, You should use the Object Name function, it is above the Symbol Name in the function popup in Define Tag Field dialog. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov
