RussU
Hi @JimW With regards to the "fix list"... is it possible that they've implemented other fixes that don't appear in the list? It seems like the rounded rectangle crop on a detail view is fixed, but the sheet titles on duplicated sheets are not. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Nothing in there for me. Like every year my hope is on next VW release. Time for feature unveiling anyway. Quote Link to comment

Yes. Sometimes the fixes for issues fix other problems as well, but if that wasn't the original intention of the engineer, they might never know the other bug existed in the first place or that what they did fixed it. Often a bug from awhile ago will be labeled "cannot reproduce" which is what would happen in a case were a bug was "accidentally" fixed, but that status doesn't get a bug listed in the release notes. 1 Quote Link to comment
Asemblance
Thanks people! Can't find anything which helps me out yet but hopefully a few issues will be 'accidentally' picked up as you say JimW Quote Link to comment

Makes total sense... It's a dark art this coding thing. Just a quickie though, when SP3 came out, and we had an issue with sheet borders and sheet names not updating (particularly when a sheet is duplicated) you mentioned that a fix was available but not yet implemented. Why wouldn't it be implemented in this release? more to it I guess... Quote Link to comment

Sebastiaan
Just Updated to SP4 an immediately saw some of the redraw issues again. Zooming in on geometry and part of it disappears and reappears when zooming out again. Rendering to OpenGL makes geometry appear again also. This should be top priority on the fix list..... 2 Quote Link to comment
zoomer
The repeating OS X firewall question for outgoing connections after each start is back again too. The only new behavior I noticed was an unexpected crash and that half life period of cameras when trying to switch activations was shortened another bit. This is disappointing but unfortunately expected... Expect to see a fix in VW 2018 with the introduction of Multicore processing across the board. (one can dream right?) 1 Quote Link to comment
