MRTC
Hello Is there a way to rig the projector so that it is facing 90deg down towards the floor. See attached image. thanks Quote Link to comment
Kevin Allen
Not if that projector is a hybrid symbol, I do not think, but if it's 3D only, should be fine. Quote Link to comment

So therefore you might choose to dupe the symbol, delete the 2d representation, rotate to suit, re-autohybrid if desired, et voila! Quote Link to comment

C. Andrew Dunning
@benghiat's Projection Viz allows for this. https://benghiatlighting.com/software/product/projectionviz-1/#description 2 Quote Link to comment
Sam Jones
If you work with projectors, you need Projection Viz. Working without it is encasing one foot in cement. 3 Quote Link to comment
JBenghiat
Thanks Andy and Sam! ProjectionViz 2 will rotate the projector to the tilt and generate the hybrid Top/Plan view. It will also let you choose the floor plane for visualizing the projector cone (as well as correctly displaying key stoning and lens shift). The Video Screen tool is going to give you a lot more options for showing the details of the projector mount and screen, while ProjectionViz is more targeted towards planning and visualization. It is currently Braceworks but not ConenctCAD compatible. https://benghiatlighting.com/software/product/projectionviz-2/#description 1 Quote Link to comment
