  1. I have been able to replicate the issue within your file however I am unable to do so in a blank file. I have escalated this issue to our engineering team to find the cause of the issue.
  2. Hi @Aristocrates, You can either send me a private message here on the forum or send us a email at uktech@vectorworks.net
  3. Hi @Ziggy, Please try the scale objects command which can be located in Modify > Scale Objects. Help page on scaling objects: http://app-help.vectorworks.net/2019/eng/index.htm#t=VW2019_Guide%2FObjects_edit2%2FScaling_Objects.htm&rhsearch=scale objects&rhhlterm=scale objects&rhsyns=
  4. Please try resetting your user folder by doing the following: Close Vectorworks > Finder > Go > hold Alt/Option and click Library > Application Support > Vectorworks rename 2019 to something like 2019old (just so you have backup). You can then open up Vectorworks. If this doesn't work, please can you send over an example file so I can try this.
  5. Hi @Aristocrates, Please can you document this through a screen recording. Do you get the same behaviour in other files? Do you get the same behaviour with this file on other computers?
  6. Hi @Aristobulous, Are you experiencing this on just one of your files or all of them? Which version of Vectorworks are you running?
  7. Hi @michaelk, Do you have any existing examples of this? Please can you send over an example file and screenshots so I can investigate.
  8. Hi @Jim Smith, I think that the issue was a corrupt wall style. I believe I have fixed the issue by recreating the wall style. Please see the fixed version of the file attached. [EDIT] Waterdown 3.vwx
  9. Hi @Jim Smith, I am unable to replicate this issue in a blank file. Please can you share an example file so I can take a closer look. I don't suppose it's because of the wall join tool settings having capped join mode turned on?
  10. Hi @Taproot, Please can you share this file so that I can take a look. To me this looks like it might be an issue with the redraw. Please can you try changing your navigation graphics. Tools > Options > Vectorworks Preferences > Display > change the Navigation Graphics to Good Performance and Compatibility.
  11. I'm not entirely sure why however sometimes Vectorworks isn't picked up as an intensive task by the graphics driver. I have never been able to replicate the issue on my PC however I have seen plenty of examples of this happening.
  12. Hi @kfmcg, This is caused by your graphics card not being set up with correctly. Close Vectorworks > right click on your desktop > NVIDIA Control Panel > PhysX settings/Configure Surround, Physx > change the PhysX processor to your Quadro M2000M > Apply > Manage 3D settings > Program Settings > if Vectorworks 2019 is not in the drop down menu click Add > select Vectorworks 2019 > Add Selected Program > Apply.
  13. Hi @lisagravy, Would you be able to send over a copy of a project which is having this issue so I can take a look. I will need the main file as well as all referenced files. Please can you also let me know what the user origin should be for the project.
  14. Hi @4younn23, This is a symptom of a corrupt workspace. Please let me know if you are on a Mac or Windows computer and which version of Vectorworks you are using so I can tell you how to resolve this.
  15. Hi @adim@proxyAV.com, Something you haven't mentioned you've tried is setting up an "application profile" within the NVIDIA Control Panel. Open up the NVIDIA Control Panel (right click on desktop >NVIDIA Control Panel) > Manage 3D settings > Program Setings > Add > select Vectorworks 2019 > Add Selected Program > Apply.
  16. Hi @Stan, This is a strange way of running the program. I suggest that you go to the application folder on your server and see if the Vectorworks 2019.app is within this folder as this is what I think is missing. What I'm guessing you've done is installed it on the server then taken the Vectorworks 2019.app file out of the application folder onto your local computer to run it. What you should have done is to leave the Vectorworks 2019.app file within the application folder and create an alias/shortcut onto your local computer to run the program. I hope this makes sense.
  17. Hi @David Homer, Please can you share the file as well as a screenshot of the result so I can test this.
  18. Hi @Bryden Scott, If this issue has not yes been resolved, please can you share a screenshot of the About This Mac (Apple logo > About This Mac) and About Vectorworks (Vectorworks > About Vectorworks) windows. My guess is that you've got Vectorworks 2018 SP4 or earlier which is incompatible with Mac OS 10.14 Mojave. If this is the case, you will need to update you Vectorworks 2018 to SP6. You can do this by going to Vectorworks > Check for updates > More info > download the service pack update and run it to go through the update process.
  19. Hi @Tmorgan, When you say that you get the spinning ball for "a long time", how long have you left it? If you leave it for longer, does it ever close without having to force quit? Please can you try running the repair tool. This will be found in the program folder which by default can be located in Applications > Vectorworks 2019 > Vectorworks 2019 Updater > Advanced Options > hold Alt/Option and click Repair.
  20. Please try changing your navigation graphics. Tools > Options > Vectorworks Preferences > Display > change the Navigation Graphics to Good Performance and Compatibility. If this doesn't help then I suggest you try resetting your user folder and running the repair tool. User folder reset: Close Vectorworks > Start > search %appdata% > Nemetschek > Vectorworks > rename 2019 to something like 2019old so you have a backup of your preferences. Repair tool: Close Vectorworks > File Explorer > navigate to Vectorworks 2019 Updater folder within the program folder (be default it will be located here: C:\Program Files\Vectorworks 2019\Vectorworks 2019 Updater) > run the updater program > let it refresh if needed > Advanced Options > hold Alt and click Repair.
  21. Hi @T_Lilly, I believe that this is a graphics issue being caused by Vectorworks not using your dedicated graphics card (GTX 1660). You can resolve this by doing the following: Close Vectorworks > right click on the desktop > NVIDIA Control Panel > PhysX settngs (this might be called Configure Surround, PhysX) > set the PhysX processor to your GTX 1660 > Apply > Manage 3D settings > Program Settings > if Vectorworks 2019 is not in the drop down menu then click Add > select Vectorworks 2019 > Add Selected Program > Apply. I hope this resolves your issue.
  22. Hi @TLoizou, This can occur due do a corrupt workspace. Please try resetting your preferences by doing the following: Close Vectorworks > Finder > Go > hold Alt/Option and click Library > Application Support > Vectorworks rename 2019 to something like 2019old (just so you have backup). You can then open up Vectorworks. This should have then resolved the issue.
  23. Hi @Harry, If this is the issue I think it is, I have managed to fix it before by toggling the Mass Plants option in the object info. Hope this helps.
  24. For others interested in RAL colour palettes, they are on our wish list.
