0 zoomer
I haven't tried in VW 2022 though, maybe something changed ? Â In VW 2022, most PIOs had already IFC 2.3 and 4 Tags. Just Stairs did not have or not export even when applying IFC 4 Tags manually. Â So it was mainly about applying IFC Tags to custom geometry. If you applied IFC 2.3 Tags, there were no IFC 4 Tags. And if you apply any IFC 4 Tag, that meant that VW switched into IFC 4 Mode. So you can't even read your IFC 2.3 Tags anymore. Until you do like you would want to apply a IFC 2.3 Tag again, this will switch VW back to IFC 2.3 again. So your IFC 2.3 Tag should still be there to read. Switching back to attach IFC 4 Tag will let you choose that Tag from the endless lFC Tag's list again. Rinse and repeat .... Â I hope something changed until VW 2022 ..... Quote Link to comment
0 Christiaan
I don't know where things are at with Vectorworks' IFC 4 implementation and I don't know if you require IFC 4 or not, but I had problems trying to collaborate with the IFC 4 output from VW and had to switch back to IFC 2x3. Â Yes, here too. But I thought IFC 4 would have some interesting new features, for Materials and such. Maybe I should test IFC 4 again for compatibility and reliability. 1 Quote Link to comment

0 zoomer
I also thought that data manager could be the solution but unfortunately did not really look into it so far. I will watch the video ..... Quote Link to comment
