Replace symbol with duplicate

Also I am always irritated by the fact that the current Symbol is not available.

That makes sense in a way of course,

but most times I can't remember the name of the current Symbol that I want to replace,

mostly with one that has a similar name.

 

So I would prefer to keep the current selection in the list.

Maybe grayed or better highlighted in red.

 

I think the same happens for replacing any Styles.

True! I hadn't thought about it this way. I often want to replace a Symbol with one that has a very similar name and is probably right next to the current symbol.

Yes please.

Although I think autocomplete text would be useful generally. This would be a good use getting it give you the next number in the sequence.
