@PNWPaul
Its possible that your resource manager cache has gotten corrupted,

navigate to your user folder,

should be somthing along the lines of C:>Users>yourname>Appdata>Roaming>Nemetschek
And look for a folder named Vectorworks RM cache
either delete it or rename it and restart Vectorworks. This forces Vectorworks to re index the library and create a new cache.
If this doesn't fix the issue please contact your local tech support

Mine was a complete lock up on both machines again today. Really embarrassing for a client meeting when I could not show them any of the work. @jcogdell, Is there any way to revert to the old version?

Right now it doesn't work at all.

Thanks,

Paul

The GenerateImage plugin may or may not be involved.  If removing it from Plugins folder helps that confirms a bug we found here very recently.

There is a workaround to try (if it is related to GenerateImage plugin):

Launch and sign in to the Vectorworks Cloud Services app

Sign out and back in with Vectorworks application (the upper right signin button or from Home Screen)

I encountered a similar issue. Removing the "Generateimage" plugin solved the problem. However, the workaround you suggested did not work for me. As soon as the plugin was in the plugins folder, VW started to freeze and projects took 1-2 hours to open.
