excel style "Ribbon" for worksheets.

Formatting works sheets currently involves a lot of right clicking | opening the 'format cells' menu | switching to the appropriate tab| adjusting settings | closing the menu - then seeing if what you adjusted does what you had intended.

 

...and if not, redoing all the opening and closing of menus and tabs.

 

It would be nice if formatting options where in a excel-like "ribbon' and all you had to do was select the cells and click the appropriate formatting buttons in the ribbon.

 

 

This would certainly save some needless clicking.

Totally agree. Such a pain. But until VW do this I highly recommend downloading @michaelk's worksheet formatting menu commands + creating a dedicated menu for them they are brilliant!:

But I may have missed a few.  I ran them as scripts for years and just recently started using them as menu commands.  If you are using a Mac you have all the Control+Key shortcuts at your disposal.  Game changer!  Especially using Control-C and Control-V to copy and paste formatting between cells.

@trevorgooch I’m thinking Michael’s WS commands could be a full Stream Deck page nested inside of a WS folder…
