Ceiling sloping in 2 directions

I am trying to model a theatre space that has a sloping ceiling in 2 directions there is approximately a 25 degree fall back to front and a 20 degree fall from left to right I have tried with ceiling grids and roof faces but cannot seem to make this work. Is this possible if so what am I missing?

won't a simple 3D object work? Then auto Hybrid or add a 2D component

You can do it with a roof face.  (Although some math is involved).  Figure out what the pitch is along the diagonal.  Make the plane of the roof perpendicular to the diagonal.

Taper face command is often useful for this kind of thing (NB the second taper face operation, where I just type in 25 degrees, in reality you might have to create a guide line to snap to, to get the 25 degrees from the true vertical).

using a Hardscape should also do the job,

or a Subdivision.

I would only use a Roof Face, Hardscape, Slab, etc if this was an architectural job + you needed to show the construction/components + you were going to benefit in other ways from using a parametric object.
