  1. Yeah, did not work for me. I get the Fence line type every time I change from solid. PLUS, with 2022, I get to wait quite some time for the line types pop up to show. Not sure what that became a thing....spinning beachball and everything. Same with most attribute popups. 2017 iMac, 40 gb, Big Sur.
  2. Still an issue in 2022, believe it or not.
  3. Still happening to me every time: VW2022 SP2 build 619242 MacOS 11.6 iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017); 3.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5; 40 GB 2400 MHz DDR4; Radeon Pro 580 8 GB Seems to be tied to adjusting the brightness. Adding the light works fine. I will try updating VW again to make sure I have latest. But that build should still have the fix from previous builds.
  4. Yep. Happening to me about 50% of the time I go to one of my Sheet Layers. The Title Block seems to still be there, if you click on a part of it. If I double-click, open and close the subsequent dialog box, the block appears again. Keeps happening. Multiple files, VW2020 SP4. Usually, when it happens, all of my sheets are affected. So far, it still shows up when I Publish. Amazing this is going on for 6 years. What the hec??
  5. Wow. 9 years later, windows are still modeled with the sill below a bottom "jamb".
  6. FYI, more than two years later and two new versions of the software, this is still the same bug as always. Saving palette positions does not work. Two monitors confuses Vectorworks. Every time I open VW, I have to manually relocate all of the palettes. Any crash of VW will reset the palettes back to default, bringing up saved workspace does nothing to fix it in either case.
  7. Did this ever get fixed. I am still having the exact same issue with simple gable roof forms in 2020.
  8. Would love to hear from VW on this. I assume a plugin is in the works, but it would be great to know how long we will have to wait.
  9. Are there advantages or disadvantages to .obj support for 3D printing as opposed to .stl? I will be printing to a MakerBot Replicator next month. Seems both formats are OK, but I am starting to research how to get from Vectorworks to either of those formats.
  10. First thing I checked was the Mode bar. I have since done all options on the Mode bar just for good measure. I have also discovered that option-dragging does not work anymore either (should give me a duplicate object). So, I have tried a different keyboard too. Nothing.
  11. All of the sudden, I cannot select more than one object by using the shift key. Played with class and layer options, restarted Vectorworks, tried older files that were fine, played with selection tool options. Nothing works. I can select with a marquee, but then cannot unselect single objects from groups of selected objects either. The option-select is not working either. Yikes! What is going on here?
  12. Upgraded to 2012 and it seems to have fixed it, mostly. Still some weirdness, but at least I can get a rendering. Next: control for whether the problem resides with the file or the program.
  13. Just started a new model. I can view the model and render in OpenGL and all of my objects and textures show up. But, switching to Renderworks (any of the renderworks options), the model just goes completely white. I can move my cursor over the model and see the objects hilighting, but nothing renders. I can go back to OpenGL, but sometimes I have to turn a light on and off again for the OpenGL to re-render. I have been doing this for years, never had this problem. Assumed it is something simple (and dumb), but cannot figure it out. Any ideas? Thanks.
