  1. Normally in this case they would assign you a single dongle that would reside on a "server" machine (doesnt have to actually be a server) that all users connected to over the network, or are all of those machines unconnected?
  2. I haven't been able to track down a source of the problem at all, any browser, random times day and night. At this point I am considering an exorcism.
  3. If you don't have a full keyboard or numpad, then Control+5 should do it.
  4. Does that same slowness happen in new test files or just that existing one/other existing ones?
  5. We are now actively looking into a replacement for the existing forum and kbase systems that will not only provide fixes for the current issues, but also allow new features such as "Official" or "Best" answers for questions previously asked, easier video and image embedding in posts, mobile device access, superior search functions and user voting/feedback.
  6. Yes, I was thinking more along the line of a plan that needed to be dimensioned, but needed to be rotated in plan repeatedly throughout the dimensioning. For instance one set of dims at 0, one set at 45 and one set at negative 45. If it just needs one rotation, then creating a viewport of an already rotated plan would work just fine.
  7. If they have a plan with multiple angled components (Ive seen this in Y shaped hospitals and other large buildings that get wings added to them over time at odd angles) I can see use for being able to rotate the final sheet in order to dimension within annotations, rather than dimensioning on the design layer in rotated plan view. However, rotating the viewport effectively allows the same thing and is almost the same amount of clicks it would be to use rotated plan for each viewport anyway. Maybe the ability to rotate the plan view while editing annotations directly would make more sense? Having it pop back into no rotation after exiting the viewport annotations?
  8. Submitting a request to allow plan rotation in Sheet Layers, although I suppose it would then be more of a per-sheet rotation and automatically reset to 0 before printing/exporting.
  9. Would that be more useful as a dialogue that could be referred back to and the automated numbering controlled in a worksheet-like manner? Or more of a command that a user would run whenever they needed to number or re-number doors/windows?
  10. I hear a LOT of different terminology working with users here from different regions of the world, especially when it comes to components of doors, windows and roofs. I had never heard that referred to as a Stile or Astragal until this thread, only the "Center Post" "Mullion" or "Jamb Brace" I theorize that my brain will be completely full of semi-useless facts by age 53 and then I'll have to start dumping out old knowledge to fit more in, like... my birthday, or what color the sky is.
  11. I think you would have to edit the opacity of the 2D geometry directly, rather than of the plant itself. Alternatively, if the components within the plant are classed separately, you can just adjust the overall class opacity for the Plants-Component-Color Fills class, for instance, and get the effect you want for any geometry that was in one of those subclasses.
  12. No problem! I used the highly refined scientific method of "Press every single button 'til something good happens!" Its my go-to troubleshooting technique.
  13. In your Door Settings, under the "Jamb" pane, do you have a setting for "Astragal Flange" and "Astragal Depth" ? When I access the settings for your door, I see these values both at 1". If I set them both to 0", the stile goes away. I had never noticed this setting until today, but it seems to remove it.
  14. I do indeed have designer, let me see if its possible in Spotlight-only.
  15. I do not see that on mine, I didn't have to change anything to get a no-stile configuration on a swing bi-part door. Take a look and tell me if this appears the way you expect:
  16. Send me one of the affected VWX files and its resulting PDF at tech@vectorworks.net and I can take a closer look.
  17. If I understand what you're looking for, it should just be a Door object, set to Swing bi-part and then the Leaf set to Panel, 1 horizontal and multiple vertical. [img:center]https://techboard.vectorworks.net/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=11444&filename=doortest1.PNG[/img]
  18. 1) Do you mean using Push/Pull tool to reshape it rather than just grabbing it with the Selection tool? 2) Submitting request now, this rolls in editing the shape via add/subtract solids. 3) A visual effect to make it more obvious where the clip cube starts and ends? 4 and 5) These have already been requested, adding this thread to the request.
  19. They are actively tracking it down now. It seems to be exacerbated the harder the graphics card is made to work, getting worse directly in relation to how many pixels are being pushed by the GPU. They're thinking its part of a larger issue and are on it now, no ETAs yet.
  20. I mean specifically, did you just install Vectorworks 2015, or did you already update to 2015 SP1? This can be found under the About Vectorworks screen next to Application Version.
  21. Did you already update to 2015 SP1? If you open the PDFs in Preview instead of an Adobe product, do they appear correctly? If you create a new blank file in 2015 and add one or more of the suspected images into it, does it allow publishing or still fail?
  22. Only in design layers for the time being. Normally when dimensioning you can just rotate the viewport as a whole, dimension within annotations, then exit annotations and rotate the viewport into its final position, the annotations will rotate to follow it.
