John Windswept Design
Is there a way to rotate Associative hatches. This would be great! Can't find it in the manual. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted February 22, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 22, 2005 You can't rotate associative hatches. Quote Link to comment
Travis
But you can Edit Hatches, duplicate the one you want rotated. Rename it and then rotate the hatch itself. Sad part is, you have to rotate each layer of the hatch. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
does it have to be an associate hatch. if you use the hatch from the Tool menu you can rotate it any angel you want.... Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
It would be nice to be able to rotate associative hatches on use. If that is too difficult to implement then a rotate routine built into the hatch dialog box will do so that we can duplicate a hatch and then change its orientation to suit our needs. John Windswept Design
Yes it would. Non associative hatches can't be reshaped like associative ones. Too bad. I want to do a roof plan. I guess I will copy my hatch and make a north, s, e, w, version. Lots of work. grrr. Thanks guys Quote Link to comment
