I would like to have the Content Filter,
currently a dropdown with single choice mode only,
be replaced by Activation Buttons with current Content Group Icons,

so that we can select more than one Content Group at once.

For example :
Show all Wall Styles AND Slab Styles, but NO Line Types, RW Textures, Record Formats, Gradients, ....

I was thinking the same thing. I often find myself in a design phase where I want textures, symbols, and my render styles, but nothing else.

Agreed. I'm thinking a "Custom Types" option and then either allowing users to pick from a checklist, or allowing them to save sets of custom resource filters would be the way to go with this.

I would prefer a direct access as I will change all the time but I could live with a checklist if the other interferes with GUI development.

Similar UI to Mail program search would be great. Blue bar pops up with suitable filters you can click on or off to suit that search.

After all if I know the exact filter combo ahead of time I really don't need to search in the first place.
