3D Intersection indicator

Question

Working in Spotlight with lots of overhead architecture, it's very cumbersome to have to switch to a Renderworks mode to determine if any given beam is intersecting the architecture. It'd be great if there was an indicator within the Draw Beam function to indicate intersection.

This a great idea. Just what Spotlight is potentially so useful for. Checking if beams are clipping masking or other elements is difficult even in a rendered mode as most of the time masking is black and as such doesn't show up clashing beams without changing its color.

Agreed, a simple (disable-able) option that recolored the offended segment of the beam lines in the event of an intersect seems in order, submitting request now.
