Mike_Borean
I would like to be able to open a second drawing window on my second monitor. I have a model that houses all of my detail drawings and I copy/past the individual detail into my current project. It is a real pain to have the two windows open on the main screen. Thanks Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I think it's going to matter what OS you are using. If you are using a Mac, turn off palette docking and you can have a drawing open on each screen. The palettes however, will stay on one screen. Not sure what the deal is on Windows 7, 8, or 10. hth mk Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted November 3, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 3, 2015 ^ This is correct for Mac. On Windows, you would have to expand the Vectorworks main window across the two monitors, since document windows have to exist within the boundaries of the main window. But then you can use Window > Use Full Screen menu option to separate the drawing area from the main window. Quote Link to comment
Mike_Borean
Guys, Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the answer is what I expected. Do I smell a feature request? Quote Link to comment

I was scratching my head trying to figure out why the heck I could not open two files and see them at the same time. It was killing me. That is an option I would have never tried. Jim Smith
This is a wish list item, but similar. Rhino allows users to have a 4 window screen that shows Top, ISO, Front & Right views all at the same time. Quote Link to comment
