0 bc
Sounds good Kaare. How do you envision its' implementation? Would there be some kind of dialog determining it's shape? Edited September 7, 2015 by bc Quote Link to comment
0 Hippocode
Unless you need to create 15000 different sized arrows I find it easy by drawing a line and assigning a class or custom arrow... If you would create a parametric object for it, again you would need to set the same settings as you do now in the attributes palette. Edited September 7, 2015 by hippothamus Quote Link to comment
0 Kevin McAllister
I'm going to guess this is about flow chart type arrows rather than attribute arrows for lines. I would use this, especially if it allowed for screen plane or layer plane (including 3d) orientations. KM Quote Link to comment
0 rDesign
@Kaare: Would the Repetitive Unit tool suit your needs? I have used it in the past for drawing life-safety egress paths that are composed of a sequence of very large custom arrows, and the path can be reshaped with the 2D Reshape Tool. Vw2015 Help : Creating Repetitive Unit Details Just a thought... Quote Link to comment
0 Kaare Baekgaard
Perhaps 'parametric' is the wrong word here. There are a number of 2D drawing programs and slide show programs – like Keynote – that offer simple arrow tools. When you click on the finished arrow, you can place a text in its center.
