barkest
Hi, I have tried a lot of ways to create the shape of this eco pod http://www.boredpanda.com/ecocapsules-off-the-grid-nice-architects/ but so far have failed. Loft has not been my friend on this one so any help would be much appreciated thanks Edited June 16, 2015 by barkest Quote Link to comment

Pat Stanford
If you don't need this right away, the Subdivision Surfaces coming in VW2016 will probably make this pretty easy. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CB8QtwIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DDh1TydxBfhQ&ei=v8GJVaOWHMbmoASv8aaAAQ&usg=AFQjCNFCEGKkxaHHUyu9NXijg_7CQ7vJiA&sig2=33pOfTtkCfNc8dYv-zuokg&bvm=bv.96339352,d.cGU Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted June 23, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 23, 2015 Oh yes indeeeeed. James Russell
I beg to differ, you just need to get smart about it! - 2015 VW [img:center]http://s23.postimg.org/xkiavwsu3/Example0.png[/img] This was achieved using 8 specially placed nurbs in a profile loft creating two solid halves that were combined with an add solids. Notice the placement of the curves at the half way line is doubled to improve/force the tangent to behave. [img:center]http://s17.postimg.org/ed51vguxr/Example1.png[/img] !~~~Trickyness~~~! Haha, fun one though. J Edited June 24, 2015 by James Russell Quote Link to comment

AlanW
Yes nice thinking, you can also use revolve with rail from the 3D powerpack in VW Quote Link to comment
