grant_PD
After being utterly confused by the wall tool's parameters, I would like to know how the following screen shots can be possible? These were once all four sides of a column. Now they don't line up but yet the PIO tells me that they are all the same dimensions. Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
I notice they are in a group. Was that group ever in a symbol? I had all sorts of wall weirdness earlier in the week when I nested a group of walls inside a symbol..... Kevin Quote Link to comment
beanus
I've had this problem, since the inclusion of stories in the program the wall heigh no longer seem to make any sense also the way you reshape walls seems to have changed? the centre node point of the wall seems to float above the wall itself when you start adding and moving the other nodes. (see attached) doesn't seem to make sense any more Edited March 2, 2012 by beanus Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
The center node I believe is the 'original' wall height setting before editing (if you drag the other nodes up to this height you can see a reference line appearing + when you edit wall height settings you can see this node change to the new settings as well as the other nodes following the center node respectively).......I would like to have an option to 'reset' the wall top back to this setting, is there such a thing (I have a script to reset wall tops after the Fit Wall to Geometry command but this has no effect on these edited walls?!) grant_PD
yes, the walls at one point were in a symbol. This seems to be a big problem. If one cannot trust the OIP, then what can one trust? Quote Link to comment
