Batt Insulation Hatch

Would be great to know how to create a batt insulation hatch to use as wall fills at creation.

Going through the process of 10's of levels in the hatch editor as it does not do "arcs" or circles is quite tedious.

Thanks, I know about that.

This does not address the issue.

Why should we have to select a tool to draw in insulation as a wall fill?

It should be one of the hatch patterns just like brick, concrete, stucco and such.

I can see (to a degree) the need for such a tool when drawing details.

The problem with a batt insulation 'hatch' is that there won't be any way to consistently have the arcs occur at each boundary of the wall assembly.

The batt arcs could be in the middle of the wall, cut off at the edge, the batts won't orient correctly for a wall -vs- a floor / ceiling assembly, etc.

You can create a tile that looks like batts insulation.

That's interesting, I wouldn't have thought to use a tile. Thanks for the tip Jonathan.

Do you need multiple widths of the batt insulation tile to work correctly with different wall cavity widths?
