Kevin McAllister
Does anyone know what sets the default line weight and dash style for a section line. They don't seem to relate to the defaults in the Attributes palette. I often assign them to a specific class and set the attributes to by class, but I have to do it manually afterwards. And if you adjust the section line the attributes reset themselves... Kevin Quote Link to comment
Assemblage
I've noticed this also. Constantly having to select section lines and return them to their class attribute settings. Quote Link to comment
J Lucas
I have had this happen so much that I have given up using the linked section lines for fear they will change or disappear when exporting for Construction Drawing prints. Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Ok, so I thought they were resetting themselves because of something I was doing, even though it seems a little random. Perhaps there is a bug here, but I am not sure how to reproduce it consistently. Its still a mystery where their default values come from. Kevin Quote Link to comment
TimG
This keeps happening with me as well... marker text font and location changes for no apparent reason... can't reproduce it either, but it seems to happen once a day or so... too bad too, its a pretty cool feature with auto documentation in the markers, but if i can't grasp why text is moving or change font type/size, i will probably join J Lucas, and resort to doing it manually as well Quote Link to comment
willofmaine
I submitted this as a bug with VW 2008 in March of 2008... In my case, often I can't reset the attributes unless I first set the line to solid; then I can set the others, and then the line, to "by class." Add a new instance, or put a new section line into my section line class and, voila, do it all over again. I finally gave up, too... Quote Link to comment
