bking39116
I am missing something very simple here and I can't remember what it is... VW2008 Spotlight + RW Adobe PDF writer I have the sheet layer scale set to 300dpi. The viewport is cropped with an ellipse. I have tried printing both postscript and non-postscript with the same results. Any thoughts... Thanks! Bob Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Each sheet layer has its own resolution that defaults to 72 DPI. In addition, there are independent resolution settings for PDF Export and Printing in the Document Preferences. Set all of those up to about 300 DPI and see if you get what you are looking for. bking39116
tried all that good stuff. Only thing I can figure is some sort of corruption in the vwx itself. All my other projects are looking ok. thanks for the input. -bk Quote Link to comment
bcd
What happens when you FQRW in the design layer? Have you tried Render Bitmap - changing preferences to FQRW? Is the Layer Lighting turned on? Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Interestingly I have had a similar thing happen in a file. I have two viewports on a single sheet layer, two different views of the same design layer, set to exactly the same render settings. One renders very clean, one looks pixelated. I checked the resolution settings etc. but they were all ok. Very strange. KM Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
Postscript settings are at press quality? I've had times where VW corrupts a rendering due to corruption or over complexity. Sometimes recreating the view helps. When you render, what is the output of the image (jpg, tiff, etc.) I don't even know if this an option. I actually never render from viewports. I just render the saved view and export the image. Assemble later. Quote Link to comment
cad@sggsa
Kevin. What render mode are you using that is giving you the different quality in the two views? Quote Link to comment
