Bruce Kieffer
This is contradictory to what we are tough as the correct way to dimension objects, being done in VP annotations. The correct dimensions of 24-1/2", 3-1/4", and 1-1/4" were added on the design layer. The other wrong dimensions are the three added in the VP annotations. Is there a way to get the dimensions correct in the VP annotation? Quote Link to comment

No I think the only way is on the Design Layer, because there the dimension tool is seeing the 3D object whereas in a VP it sees it as a 2D object... 3 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Can you post the object in a VWX file please Bruce? Quote Link to comment
Elite Exhibits
@Bruce Kieffer Dimensions in an iso / Perspective Viewport are in the Design Layer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2SJ-ftuNvY Peter Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
@Pat Stanford I attached a file, but I think @Tom W. and @Elite Exhibits are correct that this type of dimensioning has to be done in the design layer. Dimension this in a VP!.vwx 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
As usually, Tom and Elite are correct. It was just easier to use your already created file to check something rather than create a test file myself. Thanks Quote Link to comment
