'Adjust flipped text' unchecked and working on Design Layer, however not working when on Sheet Layer

Hello, I'm drawing a signage concept with angled lettering that I do not want flipped. I have unchecked 'Adjust flipped text' in Document Preferences and on the design layer the text does not flip upside down. However when I import the design layer/viewport onto a sheet layer - the text flips. I have looked through the trouble shooting forums and have seen the discussion around "path-based Plug In Object that will parse a text string" which I'm happy to explore when I couple of free hours however this is a quick concept and the client wants it yesterday 🙂 I look forward to your feedback and appreciate your time.

have you set the adjust flipped text in the viewport advanced properties?

The dumb and quick solution to this would be to Convert the Text to Polylines. As they would no longer be font based, they would keep their proper orientation.

Or rotate the text by 0.02 degrees.  This will convince VW that the text is not horizontal or vertical and will prevent it flipping.

 

0.01 degree is not enough.
