Importing design layers from another file

Hi, I am trying to import layers from one file to another. I had success with importing one design layer into my new vectorworks file, but when I try to import the second one it doesn't show up under design layers. I go to new design layer, import design layers, choose the file I want to import from, choose the layer, and select import layer options. I have tried to trouble shoot by creating a new file with only that layer, the layer is visible, restarting vectorworks, if there is a better method to import design layers I would appreciate the help! Thanks!

AFAIK it will only show Layers in list with different names to the ones

existing in your current file. If that is the case, it should work by

opening both files at a time and Copy and Paste-in-place the

Objects from your source to current file.

As @zoomersaid. You have a naming conflict. Rename your Desgn Layer1 as something else and then the missing design layer will probably show up.

This is very a good idea, especially in case you do not want to mix up geometries ....
