Sent to front not working Vectorworks 2023

Has anyone else had this problem? Attached is a newly created simple example file. I cannot make the lower right cube appear to be on top of the other cube using send to front. Nor can I make the upper left cube appear to be behind the otherBad send to front.vwx cube using send to back. These commands do work if the objects are rectangles. Maybe there's something I am doing wrong? I think this worked in 2022.

I don't think Send to Front/Back work with 3D objects, only with 2D.

 

You should be able to either increase the extrusion depth of the one you want by a very small amount (maybe 0.001 inch) or move the one you want in front up by a very small amount.

 

Or delete and redraw them so that you create the one you want on top last.

To clarify, it doesn't work in the same way. There is, however, a stacking order to 3d objects, especially hybrid objects. You'll find it most often shows up with line weights in sheet layer viewports of 3d objects or in Top/Plan view for hybrid objects. The 3d objects themselves never jump to the front like they do in 2d as Pat says.

I tried that and it does not work. Nothing I have tried forces the object to appear on top of the rest when they are all aligned "top" and viewed in Top.
