Why has my section viewports no or few details?

To simplify I have made just two walls. One is "Exterior Veneer Wall" and one I have created my self. I'll attach two images. One from Top/Plane view and one of the section viewport. Actually, I'll add one more for detail.

 

But why do my viewport look so useless?

Look at the advanced section properties, atributes pane, in the section viewport dialog.

You have a lot of options, its easiest to make a simple file and try out the different options.

@RagnarHi, Have a look at the attached file. Walls need to be on classes and components also. Edit wall style and look at each section an you can see how they are set up.

What settings are you using in the Advanced Section Properties dialog? You should select 'Separate Cross Sections' + 'Use attributes of original objects' as per as @Hans-Olav's screenshot above.
