It there a way to automatically horizontally align the text in a call out on the side of the leader line, rather then default to the previous alignment?
i.e. leader on the right - text align right / leader on the left - text align left.
What is the format for displaying ifc data in a worksheet. I am playing around with the new data tag tool. I have a data tag tool associated with a wall and the tag text defaults to the ifc data associated with the mark field under the wall styles data tab.
I am trying to create a report that displays an image of the wall tag as well as the data associated with the wall style
Are there graphic isometric views any where of the standard rail configurations that ship with VW designer. The written descriptions are wonderful but pictures would be better.
Good morning,
That is exactly what I am looking for!
From a cursory look it appears that the data field names are pretty strait forward - that is no abbreviations. for example:
='Title Block Border'.'Sheet Size Name'
That said is there a data dictionary that identifies each data field by name.
Are the data fields on the title block accessible via work sheet. I would like to create a sheet list that has added data not available in the "standard sheet list" built by the reports function. i.e. issue number and date
Thank you - so simple when one knows where to start. I do not know why I struggled with this for so long.
Interesting; Am I correct that one has to put text linked to a record in the 3D container?
I can attach a record to a symbol instance via the resource browser but it seems the only way to populate the data fields is via the edit function which does not change the record associated with the symbol. Is there a tutorial or a set of instructions that explains this operation
How do I save a symbol in my favorites file with the associated data? I create a symbol in a project file, attach a record and populate the data fields, however when I export it to one of my favorites file for future use it arrives
without the record attached. Any ideas
There is a drop down menu at the bottom on the attributes pallet that give a choice to make an object " make all attributes by class" or if no object is selected it makes the the default "Make all attributes by class". I was looking for a faster way than having to navigate down the attributes menu and then select an option in a drop down menu.
