Thanks - will do.
Where is the SP5 change log? Keen to see what has changed. Can't find the announcement and my little bell didn't glow red!

@deck you should be able to download and install with the latest installer, which will be up-to-date (or at least up to SP5). You do not need to run each Service Pack in a row. If you do need to update to SP6, you can just install that Service Pack first and it will include the fixes that are in the previous Service Packs.
Thanks!

@Aristocrates Sorry to hear you are experiencing crashes like this. Can you send me a DM with your serial number so I can look into the crashes? Please make sure to have Error Reporting turned on in your Vectorworks Preferences.

I would say at this point we are well ahead of where we were with Mojave. 🤞

@dtheory Thanks for the input, we have also had a better experience with Beta 6. I would still always recommend waiting to update to the latest OS when it becomes available. Once we can test it extensively with the release build, it is easier for us to recommend or not. We just want to make sure that your Vectorworks workflow is not crippled by OS updates.
Thanks again!

I’m having issues with my VW Sentinel Dongle installing Mac VW 2019 on Catalina Beta 5. No red light on the dongle.
Are there Sentinel 64 Bit drivers available to support the VW dongle?

My guess is they do not have a driver for this OS yet as it is still in Beta. The drivers are all from a 3rd party, Sentinel. Here is a link to the latest Mac driver that I could find: http://sentinelcustomer.safenet-inc.com/DownloadNotice.aspx?dID=8589945156

@MasterK We saw a similar problem a while ago caused by a Dell application called Dell Backup and Recovery. Do you happen to have this program installed? If so, can you try removing this to see if the crash continues?
Thanks!

I believe the ext4 file system is case-sensitive, so Vectorworks will not work there. Also, Vectorworks will not run on Linux. It will need to be installed on Mac or Windows operating systems and a case-insensitive file system.

@Stan what file system is the NAS using? If it is case-sensitive, it will not work and Vectorworks will give this error.
Thanks,

Can you send me a direct message with your dxdiag.txt file so I can check your system configuration? Also, were you able to try using a trail of 2019 as a test?
Thanks!

Yes, the issue is related to how Mojave is forcing a refresh of the Object Info Palette. Undocking and resizing the palette seems to reset it and mitigate the issue. We have only seen this issue on Mojave, but our engineering team is aware and working on a fix.
Thanks!

This article will be kept up to date with any details about the compatibility between Vectorworks and macOS 10.15 Catalina:
Are you testing on Catalina? Please use the comments to give us your feedback or to report issues.

Did you move the location of your User Preferences folder? Do you have any workgroup folders or a custom workspace?

@First Garden Design Hi Ken, welcome back. Hope you are doing well. You can refer to the videos on our Getting Started Guides for help with Site Modifiers. Here is a link to a specific video that I think will help:

Yes, this is still not resolved. I am checking with Engineering now to get an update.

@GAW-Grant Did you migrate any user libraries or custom content from a previous version of Vectorworks?

@Guy Edelstyn Thanks for your input. I revised the article to fix the link for the 2019 Offline Updater instructions.
Thanks!

@Jack B Yes, you can use the keyboard keys "U", "I", "O", and "P" to cycle through the different tool modes in the tool bar. For this specifically, I think the "P" key will get you into that field.
Thanks!

Are you able to send the rlmdiag.txt file, from the web interface? Also, there is no need to use the "Activate License" from the web. The activation is done by the Site Protection Server app when you add the Activation code or license file.
-
Check the Reprise folder in Program Data. C:\ProgramData\Reprise
-
@MikeSmithWSU This error means that the directory that stores certain RLM data can't be found. It is usually a permissions issue. Are you on Mac or Windows?

Can you try turning on "Cropped perspective" in your Document Preferences? Go to File>Document Settings>Document Preferences>Display

Are there Run-time libraries req'd for Navigation palette?

@LarryO This is usually not related to C++ libraries. Can you send me a screenshot of what you are seeing in the palette so I can take a quick look?
