BJRobinson
Hi all.  I am looking for a library of 3D plant images for Australian Designs.  Anybody know where I can find/buy some?  Thanks. 🙂 Quote Link to comment

BJRobinson
Thanks Bob. I bought VW through Ozcad. So I assume IÂ have all they have as there are some in my resources. However IÂ need a lot more. Quote Link to comment

Peter Neufeld
Hello BJR,  These are difficult to come by as the market is so small. The two that I know of are these:  http://www.envirographic.com (NZ company) http://xfrog.com/category/libraries.html (US based. Scroll down to Oceania for Australian ones)  These are not 3D models but rather images you can use to create image props from. The best format to use is PNG (they generally come with a number of different formats). Always use the low resolution versions unless you intend to use the plant really close up.  If they lowered their prices I'm sure Vectorworks, Inc. could incorporate them into the local libraries.  Cheers, Peter  PS as you must know there are already quite a few Oz Image props in the library. Thanks Peter.  I am managing with Google for now. I was able to get 20+ plants today for a project. Either exact plants or very similar. Good enough for a basic 3D design anyway.
