TITLE BLOCK BORDER SETTINGS

Working in VW2018 SP4

 

I work with custom title blocks by creating a symbol with the layout desired, creating a custom record format with the fields defined as I want them, and then attaching those fields to the text in the symbol.  I use "P_" and "S_" to delineate project vs. sheet fields (I don't deal with revisions).  I then insert this as a title block object on my sheet layers and edit the fields from the Title Block Border Settings window.

 

Question : What, if anything, controls the order in which fields appear in the Settings window under project and/or sheet?  They seem random.  Certainly not the order in which they are in my record format.  Not left to right.  Not the order in which I assigned them to text.  I would love to be able to control the order they appear in to group and streamline - any thoughts?

I think its random at the moment. I asked the same question here -

 

 

Its not ideal and it sounds like it will be fixed but perhaps not until VW2019.

2019 absolutely needs to bring back the ability to re-order fields.
