Updating window styles

Hi, Created a window style as plugin (maybe wrong) and i thought if i changed the plugin it would change all, but no. Thinking now i should be creating a window style.????

Creating a window style does do what you asking - editing the window style through the resource browser will modify all instances of that window style.  Works great, even in sharing mode.

Yes, that works for me too and is a great VW 2017 feature.

 

But I think Alan has the Australian WinDoor Tool.

Thanks Chad & Zoomer, still the same option here but though id ask to see if there was a better way.

Then I can use my Marionette network to pull out all the windows for my window schedule.

IN the attached file click on the spaghetti which is what happens to a marionette network when updating from a lower version( @Marissa Farrell) and run it, it will pull out all the windows and place in a row.

Ah, I misunderstood.

 

Yes, it needs to be a Style that makes the style-controlled parts of the Windows work like a Symbol.

Like making all jambs of all windows thicker later while keeping their individual widths and heights.

Can't imagine that such a Style would interfere with your Window Schedule (?)

 

I understood PlugIn Styles as a Templates only. To save settings for later reusing or copying between files.
