What render programme

I know this may be a way of the forum range but watching the golf from Augusta and looking at the renders and fly throughs of the holes just wondering what programs are being used .....really nice work

Not 100% sure on this but I thought it was EA Sports who did it and I believe they have in-house stuff.

Can't see the trailers.

It could be anything.

 

But in TV environment it is often C4D, as the are leading a bit with their Motion Graphics capabilities.

Software used may just depend on the preferences of the production studio that did it.

So it also could be Modo, Maya, Max, ....

And there are often mixed environments as the collaboration between 3D packages is much better

than between CAD systems.

Some use different packages for certain tasks, like modeling and rigging in Modo, animating in Maya

and finally rendering again in Modo, or even every artist uses the App he likes mostly and is faster.

Whenever I work with Fox Sports their graphic dept always wants and uses C4D.

Well whatever they use this is clever stuff which people watching take for granted.....great work .....talented people
