3D Plants! Options for the confused architect.

Recommended Posts

I may have missed something relating to this thread…are you guys wanting some specific actual 3d trees and plants species??…as opposed to i using image props?

A good site, where over the years ai have spent millions!   🙂 is xfrog…I know, goofy name, but they have some pretty good stuff….the caveat however, is that you import them into VW you pretty much need to use .3ds, or .obj file format.  Those are the only formats that will accept textures and materials….u less you have c4d (thankfully I do).

I have looked at the Laubwerk plants a couple of times + wasn't overly impressed.

Well I think I've decided the Laubwerk plants aren't up to much.

Not too impressed when they give me this 20 mins before a client presentation. The upper plant and lower plant are exactly the same type - but for some reason the lower one has decided to render as white blocks.
