zoomer
Still WIP, next iteration in an other App. FBX import but larger geometry interventions. What I used that I currently could not do in VW RW : Architectural Cameras Shift Lens without vertical distortion. Easy Edge Bevel while keeping interior edges. Blend Textures against any Color, Layer Modes. Layer textures in each Channel. Control Edges Rounding level by Material. SubD existing geometry. Quote Link to comment
rDesign
Looking good Zoomer. Is Cinema4D the other app you used for this iteration? The pool water and the specular highlights, especially on the concrete, are very nice. I also wish that Vw Renderworks would implement architectural shift lenses: It should be a simple check box in the camera settings. Quote Link to comment
Kizza
Nice work Zoomer, your standard of rendering would definitely be suitable for our office. Something for us to aspire to. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
It was Modo. I am playing with all 3, also C4D and currently VRAY4C4D. All not bad but I feel more familiar and easier with Modo. So less details in C4D so far. VRAY : Quote Link to comment
Kizza
Can you put something a bit more cheerful on the telly? Quote Link to comment
bcd
..., note that in 2016 you can set a panoramic image background just for reflections, to show like trees in the window reflections. Also this background can be created using a Photosphere from your phone. Here is one I took in Savannah for example. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9btj4txhin2gatx/Savannah%20Photosphere.jpg?dl=0 This is great Dave thanks! I didn't know this either. Do you know a good app for the iPhone for capturing Photospheres? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted June 13, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 13, 2016 Should be available on both Android and iOS now: http://gizmodo.com/googles-awesome-360-panorama-photo-sphere-app-comes-to-1623743836 But I only have Android devices here to confirm. On mine it is built into the Camera app as a mode but I think on iOS it might also show up in Google Street View. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Can you put something a bit more cheerful on the telly? I can't sustain it myself anymore I think it's best to switch the TV off ... Quote Link to comment
