Drawing Labels should inherit VP Drawing Name

I wish when copying drawing labels from one Viewport to another that they'd assume the Drawing Name already associated with the Viewport that they're being pasted into, rather than over-writing the Viewport's Drawing Name with their own Drawing Name, which by definition is already associated with the Viewport that the drawing label has been copied from. Typically all my drawings have unique names...

This seems to also be problematic not only when drawing labels are copied from another Viewport, but when they are placed as PIO's from a symbol in the Resource Browser: whatever drawing name they were originally save with as a symbol will over-write the VP's Drawing Name.

I agree with this. I also wish that the drawing name and the viewport name could be set to automatically be the same. Too many different things to manage when they are basically the same thing.

Yes. It would be great if you were enter the drawing name the viewport name would then become vp-"drawing name". That would make a lot of sense.

Yes - I often append suffixes _vp to Viewport name, _symb to symbols, _cls to class names, etc all to avoid naming conflicts in current drawing and in future import/export/referencing. Royal pain.
