Mikael 0 Posted February 21, 2011 I'm having a problem with Site Model... I try to manipulate the Site Model with "Stake object from 3D locus" -command, but the result is odd. See attached file. Quote Share this post Link to post
Rossford 28 Posted February 23, 2011 I get that a lot. When you modify a 3D poly, by adding or moving points, you would think the Z elevation would stay the same, but it often comes in at 0 or the bottom allowed elevation. Try looking in iso or from the side to determine if all the points are at the elevations you think they are. Quote Share this post Link to post
Mikael 0 Posted February 23, 2011 There are no points, 3D locis or 3D polygons on wrong z-level to make such a result. This might be a bug. I've purchased the Contour tool set, but haven't had the time to test it in a larger scale, but looks great. Having a 3D polygon as a site modifier would be nice... Quote Share this post Link to post
digitalcarbon 351 Posted February 23, 2011 try using the slope tool Quote Share this post Link to post
Tamsin Slatter 513 Posted February 23, 2011 You CAN use any 3D Polygon as a Site Modifier. All you have to do is put it in the class Site-DTM-Modifier. Same applies to 3D Loci, Nurbs curves and Nurbs surfaces. Quote Share this post Link to post
