starling75
Hi, need to create something like this: http://www.ribahampshire.co.uk/gallery/images/orchard/corner-window.jpg One of the problems is the insertion into two orthogonal walls.. Thanks for advice. Bo Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
You can't do it directly in VW. You need to stop your walls short of the corner where the window starts and then create two separate Groups for the two portions of windows. Each Group will consist of a manually made hybrid window symbol (grouped so it can't insert into a wall) and two dummy walls for the wall parts above and below the window. Or use the third party solution Windoor: http://www.ozcad.com.au/otherproducts/vwaddonsWD.html Quote Link to comment
starling75
Ok, thanks a lot. I hope that solutions like Windoor will be integrated into the next release of the VW.... Bo Quote Link to comment
Damon Design
Instead of dummy walls you can notch out the area of each wall with wall peaks at the corner to the geometry of the window(s), and then place the window group at that area. I hope we get some more features like Windoor as well. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
if you want to make corner windows often, you would be better to buy windoor. it's very powerful. I saved enough time on my first project to pay for it. Quote Link to comment
