wvancampen
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it not possible to measure/dimension in the vertical Z-axis in stacked layers. As far as I know, the only way to do so is to create a section or elevation viewport, and measure/dimension in Annotations mode. I've never understood this lack--the whole rationale for stacked layers is to see layers in their proper vertical relationships, and measure accordingly. It makes working in 3D very cumbersome imho. CipesDesign
No, you can do this now. Simply turn on Stack Layers, check that the Stack Layers option "Show 2d Objects in Active Layer" is On, then go to any 'straight-on' view (like front or left)and use the line tool (or tape measure if you prefer). C W
Cipes, where is the "Show 2D..." located? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
In the menu View>Stack Layers Options.. Quote Link to comment
CS1
Thanks Peter, I was doing it the same way as C_W and found it to be a difficult way of working. Quote Link to comment
