New Forum Safari bug

When using the new forum, mousing over the topic listing brings up a preview of the first line of the topic.

The problem I'm having is that the previews are "sticking" to the screen, and not going away as the mouse moves. This leaves multiple little lables stuck all over the list of topics, and I can't see the topics any more.

It's random: some but not others. Sometimes but not others.

Any idea what to do about this?

I've had a lot of trouble with safari lately. It used to work really well, but now I can?t even use safari on some of the pages on my web site. I have to advise people that if they want to order manuals or subscribe to the user group, they have to use firefox.

I don't think I've ever updated my Java.

Only applied the Apple system Updates as they come out.

Currently on 10.4.9

When was the last time you trashed your Safari plist ( as recommended after recent Security Updates ) ?

/Users/~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist

It's not just you, and it's not just macs or Safari. I have the problem with Firefox on my PC at work, too.

I've logged a ticket for this - they are still investigating the issue.

Reloading the page gets around this problem.
