j.christ
I would like to see the name of the viewport displayed on the Obj Info Pallet, and not just Viewport! Very frustrating. Quote Link to comment
0 Jonathan Pickup
yes, confusing as well. But even though it?s confusing and frustrating, make sure that you use viewport names that match the title of the viewport on the drawing Quote Link to comment
0 j.christ
What I am doing to overcome this is to place the viewport default name within the viewport as I create it. Maybe Nemet can title each view port that is non printing i.e like the red & white un-updated border of a viewport. Thanks anyway...and heres hopeing. Quote Link to comment
0 P Retondo
Does it take too much time to click the "Data" tab to see the name of the Viewport? Quote Link to comment
0 mike m oz
I like it as an idea. Having the Viewport name show and being editable on the Shape tab would be far more intuitive. Quote Link to comment
0 P Retondo
Mike, I agree. It took advice, I think it was from you, for me to find where to edit the Viewport name. Quote Link to comment
0 Christiaan
It definitely seems the natural thing to do. It doesn't need to be editable in the Shape tab but the least I expected was for it to show the name like a Symbol does. Quote Link to comment
